We run holiday clubs and deliver Forest School, Wild Play and outdoor learning programmes for schools and nurseries in woods across London and the South East.
Broadwater Pavilion is a local and versatile venue – which could be the perfect location for your wedding reception, corporate dinner, party or bespoke event.
Our rooms are also available throughout the week for meetings, training events and funeral receptions. Our onsite catering team are on hand to help with every need.
Choose between our three rooms. The ‘Club Room’ for your more intimate event. The ‘Bar Lounge’ suitable for parties and more informal meetings and the our ‘Function Room’ – which can hold up to about 100+ people, for formal dinners or seminars.
The venue also boasts free WiFi and ample free parking. A dedicated co-ordinator is also on hand to help your event run smoothly.
Home of Guildford RFC, and as we are a Community Amateur Sports Club (CASC), any proceeds from events go back into the club and help provide community rugby and facilities for all.

Dating back to the 16th century, The Merry Harriers is a traditional village Inn set in the heart of the picturesque village of Hambledon in the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Head Chef, Sam Montgomery-Page, delivers freshly cooked traditional pub favourites alongside a creative range of Seasonal Specials and fabulous Sunday roasts. The focus is on high quality locally sourced ingredients with a little foraging here and there – Hambledon nettles, blackberries and wild garlic being some of Sam’s favoured additions.
In the bar the local theme prevails with a range of Surrey ales and home-pressed cider, local wines and an extensive selection of world wines, spirits and fresh cocktails. The award winning Bloody Mary is a perfect precursor to the popular Sunday roast.
Overnight stays are exceptionally quiet and peaceful in a choice of seven beautifully designed en-suite bedrooms. Four newly refurbished Inn Rooms feature ancient oak beams and contemporary furnishings while the three Garden Rooms offer a simple rustic charm and lovely views of the surrounding countryside and the resident llamas.
There’s a pretty garden for al fresco drinks and dining with a children’s play area and garden boules. Children of all ages and four-legged friends are always welcome and there’s plenty of parking on site.
With a final element of the unexpected, The Merry Harriers is the only Inn in England to offer a highly original selection of Llama picnic treks. Extremely gentle and friendly, with their own special brand of happiness and fun to offer all ages, there’s a ten strong herd of llamas to carry picnic hampers and guide trekkers along the stunning local trails. A specially tailored selection of treks can cater for all sorts of occasions from romantic anniversaries to children’s birthday parties and even corporate team building with a definite difference!
