Godalming & District Chamber of Commerce is delighted to invite you to take part in an inspiring evening of training, networking, wine and nibbles!
We are all busy. Caught up on the seemingly endless treadmill of endless emails, work pressures, information overload, constant distractions from technology and the feeling of ‘there’s never enough time’! As a result, we never get the opportunity to reflect on our business success and learn from its challenges. We never consider if there is a different approach we could take that might be more productive and effective.
This evening seminar, with experienced coach and trainer Sarah Alexander, is an opportunity to step back from our businesses, reflect, plan ahead and learn new tools from the latest neuroscience to enhance your efficacy.
The seminar will include a short presentation that goes beyond stress management to brain management: how to optimise our brain’s output so we can operate at our best. This means we can be more industrious in our working day, increase our efficiency and end our day with energy to spare.
The evening will also include an experiential session with thought provoking questions which gives you the opportunity to mull over your year in business: its highs and its areas for growth. And the chance to formulate 2018.
The evening will include, drinks, nibbles, networking and:
- Tools for optimising the use your brain
- Tips for staying cool under pressure
- Questions for deliberation on 2017
- Ideas for planning ahead for 2018
- A short mindfulness practice
About Sarah Alexander
Sarah is passionate about supporting business professionals in undergoing amazing personal transformation whilst achieving results within their career. She has been a coach, trainer, speaker and mindfulness/meditation facilitator for 16 years and is the founder of Coaching Magnificence.
Formerly, Sarah was a professional rider running a small equestrian training centre for twelve years. During this time, Sarah turned around the failing business and generated a consistently profitable ‘high-end’ concern, with 10 employed staff, that thrived through economic recession when other similar businesses were failing. Before selling that business, she learnt first-hand the tools of visualisation, mindfulness/meditation, self-awareness, practical psychology, neuroscience and other development techniques to achieve her own best performance and inspire that in others.
Since then, Sarah has worked with people on the international stage: entrepreneurs, actors, sports professionals and a winner of the prestigious PGA Golf Championships. She has also taught leadership development programmes for Shell and other multinationals in the UK, Europe and the Far East. Her focus is now on helping small business owners and executives create success both through practical strategies and a mental tool kit that she outlines in her books Spiritual Intelligence in Leadership and Spiritual Intelligence in Business.
Sarah has written many articles for magazines and national newspapers including The Financial Times, The Daily Telegraph, The Guardian, The Daily Mail and Huffington Post. She has also spoken regularly on the radio. In the Daily Express, she has been described as “the elegant, calm and collected guru of all things inner gleaming”.
